I was listening to the Go Time podcast (episode 7) and it was a great discussion regarding the Go language and API design using Goa. This sort of design would typically be part of the creation of microservices (think Amazon’s web services design). An excellent video about Goa and API design can be found in Brian Ketelsen‘s YouTube video.
A very interesting aspect of this discussion involved Goa and Gorma and potential substitution for Ruby on Rails (in certain cases).
Book Pick
Recently, I read an excellent article by Derek Sivers and it reminded me of a book of his that I read a while back. The name of the book is Anything You Want and is a worthwhile read.
