I’m not sure if there is that much to say about me. I’m a geeky Bay Area transplant who likes to:

The above areas are the ‘4D’ i.e. 4 dimensions of the focus of this site.

Site Conventions

The line between “learn” posts and “teach” posts is that the teach posts are related to classes that I teach or software related topics that may be of interest to students (past, current, and future).

I’ve tried to keep categories sparse, while I’ve been more liberal with tags. I’m not sure of the best way to deal with categories versus tags.

In terms of categories:

• All (besides Quick Posts): Basically posts that take a longer more deliberate time to write.
• Quick Posts: Typically these are posts sent by email. They refer to some quick tidbit of potentially interesting information.
